Geneseret by Brueghel
"Christ Asleep in the Boat on the Sea of Geneseret" - one of the masterpieces recently discovered at the Cathedral of Limoux in the secret storehouses there. This painting belonged to the priest Gasc.
Jan Brueghel was known for his Biblical paintings, floral paintings, seascapes, and Biblical seascapes such as this one, "Christ Asleep in the Boat on the Sea of Geneseret". One of the Gasc paintings has this same theme.
